Housing overview

If you are looking to Master tasks faster and fail less often, Housing is your answer. Housing allows players to construct a residence and add Rooms (called Additions) that can be used to apply temporary Buffs for free once per day to increase your Mastery gain, add more D6 to your roll, and/or reduce the difficulty of the task. These buffs don't last forever, but can be re-enabled when they run out by spending some Leol (or Essence for combat skills). Each renewal of a buff costs 25% more than the previous.

It is very important to know that in order to start Housing you MUST start with a Shack. Every time you want to upgrade to a new size, you replace the previous residence. Likewise, additions must be upgraded in order, starting from Level 1.

Houses

Failed ticks give 40% xp. Each tier of nails gives -1 difficulty, each tier of planks give -5% ticks (additive) but +1 difficulty. For example, using Rare Planks (-10% ticks, +2 diff) and Rare Nails (-2 diff) to build a Large Cottage would be 11 - 2 + 2 = 11 difficulty and require 6480*.9 = 5832 successful ticks.

Addition Bonuses

The first bonus activation for an addition is free. The second one's price is listed here. After that, each activation costs 25% more than the last one. Costs reset (to 0) every 24 hours.

Combat additions only require essence for the Mastery bonus. Other additions only require Leol for Mastery bonus.
